One of the first official single releases for Trinidad Carnival 2013, K. Rich’s addictive “Wine Back” (written by Yours Truly, Mista Vybe) continues to be one of the most popular songs for the upcoming C2K13 season in TnT. Previously I’ve had the plerasure of writing for Antiguan Soca star Tian Winter on two successful projects: “On The Road” by Teddyson John & Tian, and “Raving (Flames Remix)” by Tian featuring Onyan of Burning Flames. Last night I finally got to meet The Winterman in person while working on a new song that I co-wrote, which he recorded for the upcoming StarDance Riddim!
Good vibes in studio with the homie Kasey Phillips (Precision Productions) and Tian Winter. Can’t wait for the track to release…

I promised myself when I started songwriting for Soca artists I was going to manifest songs I could be proud of both musically and lyrically. I’m happy to say this this latest release is just such a creation because I’m totally stoked about the lyrics and melody I was able to inject into this project. As a longtime fan of Antigua’s legendary “jam band” Burning Flames, I was beyond thrilled when Tian Winter and Precision Productions enlisted me to co-write the highly anticipated remix of Tian’s 2012 Antigua road march contender “Raving”. Needless to say the end result far outshines all our wildest expectations.
Real Talk: to this day I’m still wowed at hearing King Onyan of the Burning Flames singing lyrics that Kasey Phillips (Precision) and I wrote. To say that I am humbled and honoured is definitely an understatement.
