HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! (Recap of the B’day Celebrations so far…)
This is how I #GetFamous on my pre-birthday! (Shout out to Famous Club Clothing)
Happy Birthday to MEEE!!! Yes folks it’s my b-day today (July 7th, 2010), and I’m enjoying it to the fullest so far, thanks to a brand new attitude, and some help from my cousin/manager/bff Joanne Marcano aka @FocusedDiva! The birthday celebrations actually started YESTERDAY at Madmen Productions studio, where I had a WICKED session with my homey Madman Johann (wait till you guys hear this SONG – wow!). Read on to see and hear the rest of of my b-day happenings thus far! *wink*
Talk about starting the party early lol! Madman Johann’s production partner Ricky Rameshwar (also well known as the Musical Director of Soca star Destra’s band) came through the session to lay down some keys and suggested we “lash some drinks”, and the next thing I know there’s a case of drinks in the studio!
Just for the record (and because I know some of you are bound to be wondering), half of the case was Stag (that’s a Trini beer for you foreigners lol) and half was Guinness, plus there were two bottles of Shandy Sorrel for Jo (yeah – she sucks lol, Shandy is for teenagers lol).
I’ll fast forward through all the Stag-induced happiness that ensued after this point and jump to midnight on July 7th, which was when Joanne OFFICIALLY started my birthday with some FAB gifts for which i will love her eternally!!!
If you wanna know what was in the those gift wrapped boxes last night and what I’m up to for the rest of my birthday today… you’re gonna have to read the next blog post! Jo and I are hustling off to Maracas to enjoy some bake n’ shark and the sound of the waves (which is one of my favourite ambience noises on earth btw).
Uhmmm… okay, as I’m typing, plans have changed because it’s RAINING CATS AND DOGS here in TnT *sigh* Sooo… no beach today… switching to Plan B lol.
