BACK IN SWEET TnT!
Yessssss folks! The one and only Mista Vybe is back in Sweet Trinidad once again after a solid month of hard work and good times in cold (but yet warm) Toronto, Canada. So much went on up there, most of which I can’t really get into just yet (or Let’s say it together, “Management will have my head”. lol), but I did want to catch you up on a few quick things that went down during my last trip to the T-Dot. READ ON for a quick list of GOOD STUFF THAT WENT DOWN DURING MY T.O. TRIP!
1. I spent a good deal of time cutting HOT TRACKS at Jugglin Studios with “Mister IT’S NOT A JOKE” himself, Jester! Look forward to serious heat that came out of those sessions as well as much more collaborations between myself and Jester in the future *wink* Also major respect goes out to De La Vega who mixed my Unofficial Remix of “Hold Yuh” (AKA “Sweetest Wine Of My Life”)! If you didn’t already know, De la Vega is an amazing musician/engineer and producer, and an even more amazing person (thanks dude!). I also hooked up in the studio with upcoming producer (and my fellow Marcano Management fam), Doc JonesHD! Look out for BIG THINGS from this young man, COMING SOON! Don’t say I didn’t warn you – this guy is a PROBLEM (with a capital P!)

2. I managed to go out to some new spots with some new friends! Big shout out to Leisa, Jez (even though I didn’t actually SEE you yet lol), Carey (my Goddie!), AKAChynnaBrown (I want more Felix!!!), ReeRee Phillips, D’ Ultimate Sting, Peaches, G-Factory, the amazing Cerise Fairfax (another Marcano Management fam member), Stacey (You’re AWESOME), the homie Lissa Monet and all my other T-Dot peeps – I got mad love for you guys! It’s so great to be able to reach outside the norm and embrace new opportunities! Thanks to Management especially for making sure I was inspired and entertained (in between working my behind off lol).

4. I had the opportunity to #GETFAMOUS lol. Before you get all hyped, PAY ATTENTION! I’m not even gonna let anyone start asking dumb questions so, in advance, the answer is “NOOOOOOO”!!! No, I didn’t star in a major movie or sell a million copies of my new single or get snapped by the paparazzi while I was out on a date with Halle Berry (yet lol). If you pay attention to my tweets you’d know that the term #GETFAMOUS refers to getting cool duds from the exclusive Famous Club clothing line based in T.O.! Yup, Management and I were able to link up with Mr. Famous himself, who hooked us up with some exclusive Famous styles (thanks dude!). Stay tuned for some candid shots of yours truly out and about sporting some Famous gear SOON! *wink*
5. I got alotta new material started! Not only did my Toronto trip renew my writing vibes, but I also started back working on producing my own stuff too. Again, if you follow my tweets you’ll know I’ve been working on #1TrackADay pretty much every day, in an effort to grow creatively. Oh, and for the record, we’re talking NOT JUST SOCA here. Jeez, sooooooo much more is in the works, but as I said, i can’t get into details YET, so stand by for more on that very soon as well *evil grin*
So, in closing, I gotta say that T-Dot was the bomb (as usual)! I’m back in TnT now, refocused, with a new purpose and direction and feeling more creatively powerful than ever. Sometimes we have to have our eyes opened in order to take bigger steps toward even bigger things. Thank God for blessing me with all of the above people and experiences to bring me to this new point of clarity.
It’s gonna be a great journey, and I look forward to taking all of you with me on this little quest of mine to GREATNESS!
