I’M BAAAAACK! Mista Vybe RETURNS to TORONTO in 2010!!!

Yes folks! Mista Vybe inna yuh Dancehall again, yo – BACK IN THE T-DOT again! This is my first visit for 2010 (but not my last I’m sure lol), and as always it’s a pleasure to be in Toronto, Canada. I’ve barely been here a couple days but already got alot of business handled and managed to have a LITTLE fun. Read on for some tidbits about some of the things I’ve been up to since I landed in T.O.!

Suffice it to say that alot is going on business-wise, but I can’t let the proverbial cat out of the bag yet or Management will have my head (lol). However… let’s just say LOTS of great things are in the works, the majority of which will make my short stay in Toronto a BUSY one.

That being said, I had the good fortune to mix business with pleasure on Saturday night by paying a surprise visit to my bredrin Kid Kut’s Birthday bash at the VOLA Lounge in downtown Toronto. I got the chance to take in the Kid in his element, as well as party to the sounds of my homey for life Jester who blazed serious fire on the wheels of steel alongside all the other DJs for the night. Large up Trixx as well, who ably handled MC duties alongside the Kid.

With all due respect to my boys Kid and Jester, the BEST part of the night (by far) was reuniting with the MistaVybeWorld.com Team! Yup, myself, @FocusedDiva (aka Joanne Marcano, my Manager) and our resident Media maverick, Sandhya Khanna were all in attendance, and we had a whale of a time. Large up to all the twitter folk we bounced up with that night too (shout out to ReeRee Phillips and the always fun Chynna Brown and Doc JonesHD lol), and all the Toronto industry people I had the good fortune to meet up with as well. Big tings a gwan!

Hmmm… what else? Oh yeah – on the PERSONAL side, I got the chance to FINALLY try my first red velvet cake over the weekend (thanks to Management), and I gotta say that after a few bites of the mini-cupcakes with butter cream frosting, I’m TOTALLY HOOKED. Definitely gotta make that the flavour for my birthday cake in a couple months lol. Red Velvet cake to di worlddddd we say! *lmao*

There’s a lot more happening behind the scenes that I can’t get into yet as I said earlier, but rest assured I’ll be getting in the studio SOON with Jester to bring you guys some HEAT (and not just Soca either *wink*). St. Lucia massive hold tight – I definitely got something coming for you all soon that I’ll be working on while I’m here and maybe something for the SVG massive as well… we’ll see.
