NEW CHRISTMAS MUSIC: MA$TAMIND PRODUCTIONS RELEASES “A CARIBBEAN SOUL CHRISTMAS” CD FEATURING MISTA VYBE SINGING “LITTLE DRUMMER BOY”
With October nearly over and the chilly weather here in Toronto nipping at my heels, it seems like the perfect time to unveil my Christmas release, from the newly released album “A Caribbean Soul Christmas”, produced by my good friends at Ma$tamind Productions (shouts to Shawn “Da Ma$tamind” Noel and Natasha Andrews-Noel). Thanks to the visionary Tasha (Mrs. Noel to you guys), I got a chance to vocalise (read as: sing the HELL out of) one of my favourite Classic Christmas carols – “The Little Drummer Boy”.
With music produced and played entirely by the uber-talented Shawn Noel and all vocals (lead and background) performed by Yours Truly (Mista Vybe inna yuh Dancehall again), this new release is the perfect thing to get you into the Christmas spirit and keep you company throughout the Yuletide Season. (Big shout out to Giandre Diaz AKA The Phoenix of Burning Bush Studios for recording my vocals too.)
For those of you that SOMEHOW didn’t already know that Mista Vybe can SANNNNNG (as opposed to JUST “sing”), I’m happy to report that everyone who has heard it already agrees that it’s hands down one of my best vocal performances EVER.
