SNEAK PEEK: IN STUDIO WITH MADMEN PRODUCTIONS!
Damn – I’m HYPED UP right now y’all! I just got home (yes, at 4:27am) from a CRAZY studio session with my good friend Madman Johann and ace keyboardist Ricky Rameshwar, who comprise two-thirds of TnT’s hottest production team these days – Madmen Productions. I’m telling you – it was pure FIRE in the studio tonight!
Extra special thanks to Madman Johann for being my engineer while I programmed almost all the drums and percussion (wait till allyuh hear de RIDDIM for dis tune, dread – wayyyyyy). We gonna KILL dem with this one Madman!
And special thanks and respect to Ricky Rameshwar as well – dude played some ILL keyboards and some wicked basslines tonight. Bless up Ricky!!!
I guess I should be tired cause we spent most of the night working on one of my solo Soca “chunes” for Trinidad Carnival 2010, but I’m WIDE AWAKE right now, cause I’m happy that the song is coming out AMAZING!!! I’m even more excited about this particular tune because it marks my return to PRODUCING, which is something I used to do alot more back in the day, but I of took a little rest from it for a few years (last official production credits were on the Hard As Steel album when I was in Soca band Atlantik back in 2000).
Well I’m BACK baby!!! As a matter of fact, Johann was so impressed with my drum skills on my track that he asked me to put down some drums for other projects of his too (lol). And this one of the top Trini/Soca producers in the game we’re talking about? *proud grin* Soooo – anybody got a good name for my production company? Hit me up with a comment and let me know, why don’t ya?
Alright that’s all for now – not gonna say too much cause I don’t wanna let the cat out of the bag too soon, but I have to say that I CAN’T WAIT to BUSS DIS CHUNNNNEE!!!!
